Sory
The year is 2013, Mexico is greatly disrupted by violence and inequality; Urgent actions are required to improve and strengthen the social fabric and promote human rights.
Girls, boys and young people are the most affected and it is very necessary to promote safe spaces for these populations, to support training, educational and cultural processes that serve as protection factors.
In this context, with the impetus of the then Secretary of Culture of the State of San Luis Potosí, Xavier Torresarpi, the MÚSICA PARA LA VIDA A.C. FOUNDATION was established on May 22, 2013, with music as a transformative tool.
A musical and social diagnosis in 23 municipalities of San Luis Potosí laid the foundations that justify the enormous need for projects like MUVI, which through a collaborative musical education model, positively impacts communities, families and the lives of each participating girl, boy and young person.

DONATE
Thanks to a group of socially committed citizens and professionals, this Program has been operated since 2013 with extraordinary results.
Excellent teachers, teachers, musicians, psychologists, social workers, cultural promoters, technicians, administrative staff and assistants have made it possible for more than 4,500 girls, boys and young people to transform their lives through music.
This could not be a reality without the trust and commitment of more than 200 companies, 150 godmothers and godfathers, educational institutions and international bodies that have contributed economic resources, donations in kind, technical advice, training and dissemination so that MUVI exists and continues.
